I believe that volleyball skill development and the growth of an athlete are more important than results measured by medals and trophies. My focus is on improving, having fun, and making good memories—goals that are achieved through the unity of being a team. This will be my fourth year coaching with FOG and my second year with FOGG. I played 10 years of club volleyball, including 5 years professionally in various clubs and leagues in Turkey. My coaching journey started as an assistant coach for NAVC Men’s 14U in 2013, followed by head coach roles for FOG Red Men’s 16U in 2016, FOG Black U16 in 2018, assistant coach for FOG Black 17U in 2019, FOG Black 18U in 2020, and most recently, head coach for FOGG Polar U16 during the 2023-2024 season. I am also working towards my Development Coach (NCCP 1) certification. The goals for this season are to build a strong and competitive team, improve the individual skills of athletes, and prepare them mentally to be ready to compete against any team.

My role as a coach is to help players grow, push beyond their potential, and develop both as individuals and as a team. I have been involved in volleyball since I was eight years old and have spent the past six years coaching girls’ volleyball. This is my second year as an assistant coach with Polar, and I am excited to continue supporting and mentoring our athletes.
