At FOGG Volleyball, our club fees are designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience for athletes and teams.
Use of Fees
At FOGG Volleyball, our club fees are designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience for athletes and teams. Fees cover:
Coaching Honorariums
Coach training and development requirements
Coaches’ Expenses
Coach registration with Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada
Coach accommodation, transportation, and food allowances for out-of-town events
Tournament Registration Fees
Covering team entry for:
Volleyball Alberta Premiers & Provincials
Volleyball Canada National Championships (U14–U18 teams)
Exhibition tournaments (varies based on age group)
Athletes’ apparel
Coaches’ apparel
Team Equipment (ie. volleyballs, ball carts, jump boxes, blocking tools etc)
Team Technology for coaches
Club administration fees – Website, Google Workspace, Banking Fees
Facility Rentals (access to Edmonton gym facilities for practices and training)
Athlete and Parent nutrition workshops with a registered sports performance dietician
Volleyball Training Opportunities:
On court training:
U12: 3 sessions per week (on court)
U13: 3 sessions per week (on court)
U14: 3 sessions per week (on court)
U15: 3 sessions per week (on court)
U16: 3-4 sessions per week (on court)
U17: 3-4 sessions per week (on court)
Off-court training: (Strength and Conditioning)
U12:1 session

Sports Psychology Sessions
Helping athletes:
Learn and apply mental strategies for success.
Manage competition pressures.
Embrace and grow from the learning process of volleyball and team sports
Mindfulness and meditation sessions to improve focus, manage stress, enhance emotional regulation, and stay present during competition, training and in life.
What is not included in the fees:
Hudl/Balltime (Only available for U14 and older age groups)
360 Player Platform
Sportlomo Player Registration fees
Optional additional apparel
Club tryout fee
Volleyball Alberta tryout registration fee
Athlete membership competitive player upgrade
Players accommodation & transportation costs for all out of town Volleyball Alberta Premier, Provincial tournaments, additional Tournaments as well as Volleyball Canada National Championships
Any additional domestic or international tournaments that each team decides to enter
Any additional costs associated with Volleyball Canada National Championships (this includes players accommodation, transportation, coach transportation, accommodation, travel expenses/per diem, etc.)
Our fees are structured to ensure athletes receive holistic development in technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
Financial Assistance
Families who may require help covering registration fees are encouraged to apply for support through KidSport Edmonton, a community-based program that provides grants to help children participate in organized sports.
KidSport funding is available to eligible families and can be applied toward club registration fees. Applications should be submitted directly to KidSport Edmonton, and approval is determined by their guidelines.

Timely payment is critical for the Club to meet its financial obligations and we require all members to keep their accounts current. Fees can be paid using cheques, credit cards or debit cards using 360 player payment platform.
The Club’s goal is to grow the sport of volleyball and provide players the opportunity to grow through sport. We want players to play. Please contact the Director of Financial Operations via email finances@foggvolleyball.org to discuss payment flexibility.
